Entertainment without leaving the gîte... ● The gite has : ○ swings for children ● Fishing The gîte and the grounds are bordered by the Dadou, a river with Category 1 trout. An equipment room, fish pond and outside tap are also nearby. The department of the Tarn shares the same policies as the neighbouring departments of the South as regards regulations for fishing permits. The manager’s husband will provide you with all the information you need.r. ● Walks and hikesTwo marked-out paths, between 525 and 842 metres in altitude, allow you to discover the high valley of the Dadou. One of them goes past the house (PR 29). Other circuits enable you to discover the Lacaune Mountains or the steep slopes of the Roquefort region. With 6 mountain bikes provided for all sizes of riders, family and sporting excursions can be combined.
... and a little further away● The Adventure Park of St Pierre de Trévisy, 15 km from the gîte, will delight the daring and sports people of all ages. They can walk in the forest at the top of the mountains or bungee jump, under the supervision of professionals. Various levels of difficulty are available according to ages: Yellow for children from 1m55 tall with their arms raised, Green, Red and Black for juniors and adults from 1m80 with their arms raised. ● The water park of St Pierre de Trévisy has a swimming pool and water slides. ● Situated in Lacaune, 25 km from the gîte, l’Espace des Sources Chaudes, in all seasons, will welcome children and adults alike, with natural hot water from the thermal spring of Bel Air. Various activity areas are available: water games for smaller children, slides and sport for teenagers, with racer slides, fitness and training area, relaxation area with sauna and solarium, restaurant and picnic areas. ● Winter sportsIn winter, half an hour away, you can go cross-country skiing or walk with snow-shoes and toboggan on the station of Picotalen close to Lacaune (equipment hire).● Horse riding
